Water during Workout
💪When working on losing weight or building muscle, it’s really important to drink enough water during workouts. Here are some simple tips to help you:
💦Stay Hydrated: Remember to drink water while you’re exercising. It’s important to keep yourself hydrated during your workout session.
🏃🏻Don’t Count It: If you drink water while you’re working out, don’t include that amount when you’re counting how much water you’ve had throughout the whole day.
🥵Quench Your Thirst: Whether one is trying to lose fat or gain muscle, satisfying thirst is important. If thirst is satisfied during a walk or exercise, one feels less hungry afterwards. This can help prevent overeating.
💧Water for Muscle: Our muscles are mostly made up of water, about 70%. So, it’s crucial to stay hydrated during your workout. If not, then might get muscle cramps or even hurt yourself.
How Much to Drink:
Cardio/Walking: Take small sips of water every 15-20 minutes. Try to drink around 250-500 ml of water.
🧊Strength Training: Drink water after each set of exercises. Aim to finish about 500-1000 ml of water during your strength training.
