Today everybody is worried about diet for cholesterol. …but there is hardly any awareness about what is cholesterol.…

so …..first we will understand what is cholesterol. Basically there are seven food groups in our diet:

1 carbohydrates

2 proteins

3 fats

4 vitamins

5 minerals

6 fibre

7 water

Any food we eat can be classified in the above food groups. One of the food group is fat and cholesterol is a type of fat.

Fat is the stored form of energy. Whenever there is shortage of glucose in our body, it will breakdown the fats and use it.
